And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead...

I was recently asked by the City Media Foundation to manage a blog for them about Missoula. I don't know why, because if they found me through my blog they could see I haven't updated in 7 months haha. So without any time to do it I respectfully declined. It would have been pretty fun though. I found some time to finish this little piece up, only spent a few hours on it but thinking about Missoula motivated me to finish it. Almost all of the art I've been doing lately is for Chem Pftd and top secret so I can't share, but I hope you enjoy this little mess around project. (P.S. - about halfway to finishing the first line, so stay tuned a Chem Pftd site will be up soon to keep you updated on the release.)

YOU GOT EM, WE WANT EM, GOTTA HAVE BLUE BEADS, BLUE BEADS

Since high school I have enjoyed doodling these things I call Totems. If I go through my sketchbooks and notebooks I probably have 50 of them. These top two I made digitally with my wacom tablet and the bottom one has been hanging on my wall for about 7 years.

I actually turned this in as "class notes" in a project my freshmen year of college. My teacher left a note on the grading sheet "I really liked your class notes."

ROCK JOCK

Learning the basics of geology can be an incredible eye opener. It brings your awareness to another level and turns long car rides into long stories. Here's a local attempt at some geological engineering:

Most attempts have a budget to insure they're successful, so far. But the first thing to learn about this planet: Earth always prevails.

ALWAYS ON MY MIND

Getting some R & R is a right anyone should be entitled to. Maybe even the true United Statesian pastime. "Can you give me a hand?" Here's a simple graphic that responds: "Nope."

WUGBY RABBIT

Aww poor little guy got into some trouble! Dont worry, The Humane Asylum has him all fixed up. Humane Asylum is a non-profit concept i have in the mix. The idea is a streetwear brand for charity. Profits for each item will be donated to whatever charity or charities the buyer desires. This is him in sharpie pen on trace:

I wanted to blog about him before he jumped into the digital world. He will certainly look different from this by the time I'm done clicking and dragging. I'm also considering a whole slew of friends to join him, like a group pic, but I'm gonna see how he turns out first.

Humane - marked by compassion, sympathy, or consideration for humans or animals. Humanisitc.
Asylum - A place offering protection and safety; a shelter. The protection afforded by a sanctuary.

Humane Asylum will follow closely with Chemistry Perfected, the hope in becoming great powers of example.

AINT HARD 2 FIND

Pretty much everyday you can find me and Lucy hiking up Pattee Canyon. Really close and some of the most amazing scenery when there is snow.

Lil' Powederhound. Tons of snow always tops off this lil summit area she likes to play at.

Down near the bottom is serenity. Fresh air from the pines mmmmm.
